PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST BEFORE CALLING THIS OFFICE ABOUT ANY QUOTES.I would HIGHLY recommend not talking to the Feeney Agency about an insurance policy and I will explain why. The very first time I talked to Michael via email and asked for an AUTO QUOTE, I received a large quote through email for auto and renters insurance. I did not have a single discussion with him about a renters quote but he assumed I would not notice the renters portion on the quote. This should have been my first red flag from this office but I tried to give the man the benefit of the doubt as if he made a mistake with adding the renters insurance so I kindly asked him to remove the renters and just give me an auto quote.A few weeks later, I talked to Michael on the phone about potentially moving forward with just an auto policy. He sent the docusign and asked me to sign it if I wanted to move forward. At this time, I was also looking elsewhere for competitive pricing so I never accessed the docusign to sign the documents. Shortly after, I received a large bill in the mail over $2,000 stating I owe Erie Insurance for a policy I never moved forward with.I then emailed one of Michael’s agents and she advised me that the policy should have been canceled early on in the process due to no signatures received but for some reason the policy was not canceled, very interesting. I then emailed Michael and asked for his explanation on why he issued the policy and basically, his response was “this issue is now with Erie Insurance” and you showed interest in wanting the policy so we issued it, which is the most unbelievable thing I’ve ever heard. Now, he is trying to make me go through steps to have this policy canceled when I never signed any documents to move forward with the policy in the first place. This office will continue to hear from me until this issue is resolved. He issued a policy out of assumption and has the audacity to tell me this is now an Erie insurance issue, not his. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE, I CANNOT STRESS IT ENOUGH.
